Hey everyone. I am looking for a place to get my CTS Turbo Pulley installed here in Houston. BarTuning refuses to install anything they don't sell (and give them a Google search, horror stories abound) and everyone else only works on APR / GIAC. I have always gone to Raudel at Reisu Motorsports, and he is a great, stand up guy. That said, he usually works on older Audi vehicles, and doesn't have the pulley removal tool. He thinks it'd be between $300-450 for the installation, which is MUCH cheaper than anyone else has quoted me, and I might see if he could cut us a deal if more folks went in on this.
In order to make it work for him spending the money on the tool, he'd need two people to commit to an install. I had one person contact me, but they have since decided that they might not be on board due to missing the introductory pricing on the tune. Since a lot of folks were interested in the EPL flash from home option and might be in the same boat, I figured I would put this out there and see if anyone else was interested. Feel free to PM me or just respond to the thread. Thanks!

well there is a guy on here that is renting the tool out to do it. But you might be able to use your guy you want to use and give him the tool to do it and just give the tool back to you when he's done and you ship it back to the guy and done. Look in the classified section for his post

He hadn't done one yet, so he gave a range. Thanks for the input / replies. If I can't find anyone I do have a low / no cost option to rent.

For what it's worth, most places anywhere near Houston quoted me $600 or more to do the installation. I just can't get over how badly they all try and stick it to us compared to all these other seemingly stand up shops around the country.

are you getting the tune before the pulley? I know I could install the pulley if needed and with the pulley tool. I watched a video and it is not that hard. remove the front bumper and use the tool. I had mine installed with the tune I got. If I could of done the tune myself I would of put the pulley on myself. I have heard with the APR pulley removal tool you many not even need to remove bumper....maybe cause a slimmer removal tool...not sure.

All pulley tools require removal of the bumper unless you just remove the supercharger

Yeah, that's why I am also seriously considering doing an RS4 grill at the same time.

i rented the tool from a member and did it myself. its straightforward. i use Reisu for my service, good guy....he's probably just being conservative since he hasn't done it before. i'd be willing to help you at your place if you want, assuming the install is like apr where you heat it in an oven and slip it on. i'm in the cypress area. getting the bumber off and pulling the crash bar assemly outward is easy. and fwiw, i installed my pulley then did the software about a week later. and bar tuning, yea, avoid them like the plague. pm me if interested or have questions.

Have any of ya'll used Reisu to install coilovers? I'm curious what they would charge and if they have an alignment machine.

I am sure he could. He has a pretty well equipped shop.

He installed my coilovers, i can't remember what i paid but i did have an alignment done as well. He doesn't do the alignments at his shop, but i had it done with the install and he took care of the logistics. Really nice guy and straightforward
