Well, my girl has owned her B7 for about a week now. She loves it, and won't let me drive it. :( However, I am able to mod it for her. So, this weekend, I tinted the windows and smoked the tails. This weekend, I think we are going to put on the 19" wheels I am trying to sell. Here are a few pics of the stuff I've done so far.

I know its nothing special, but just wanted to share.

Where did you get your smoked tailights done and what did it cost? Looks good btw. I'm in North Hills (Northridge area).

Looks good, too bad she won't let you drive it. How dark of a tint did you go with? The tails look good too, debadge the rear and it'll look even better [:D] . Looks like the car is already lowered, is that the case?

I do most of my mods myself. The tint was done at some place in Reseda. She's been going to the same guy for years. he actually did a pretty bad job. But she's stupid and doesn't listen to me...

I did the taillights myself. I used a tinted vinyl, so it is like a big sticker. You'll eventually see how I can use vinyl or decals for a lot of things. After all, its what I do for a living.

If you are interested in the taillight tint, let me know. I don't have a kit , but I can install it on your car, since you are local.

Justin,
Its kinda cool having a practice car before I get my Avant... and yea, a photoshoot with 3 B7s will be sick!

Oh yea, she won't let me drive it, cuz she paranoid, the whole new car thing. I feel like rain man, I get to move it in the driveway, and that's it. Although she did let me drive it after I did the mods to it. Maybe she's coming around.

And to answer the final question... 35% tint all around.

As far as debading, I'm not a fan of debadging. I have nothing to hide. I hate the people that buy the MBZ E320, and take off the badges and try to play it like its a 500 or even a 55. Just annoys me. If anything, I may paint the emblems black, but as far as removing them, I think they are going to stay.

i don't think most people debadge to hide anything. especially with a b6 or b7 audi. what is there to hide?

i think it just looks a lot cleaner without so much clutter in the back. what is there to hide from taking off 1.8t (2.0t) and A4?

Car looks great, what suspension are you running? It looks lower than stock.

Looking good.

I really like the tinted tails...if I could find a place to source that tint locally it would be awesome.

Do you know a place where can I get a vinyl kit for the lights?

You're new to the whole "reading" thing, aren't you? Read what I wrote in response to the 1st time you asked this.

Oh yea, there is no kit out for this car yet, that is why I had to make them.

I don't know the exact rules of this forum, but the other forums I have been on don't like when I advertise my work and prices... What the hell... I charge $75.00 to do this.
Currently, my schedule for Saturday has 2 installs, and there is probably room for 2 more.
