I know this can basically be done with any laptop, but I wanted to throw this out there to anyone that's getting started with VCDS and might need a spare machine to use for it. I used this Dell laptop for car applications such as VCDS, ECUX and JHM tuning etc. and really enjoyed having a dedicated machine since I'm a Mac user. This does not include the Ross Tech cable obviously, but it DOES include a Dell car charging converter (charging via cig. lighter) in addition to the regular wall charger which is a REALLY nice thing to have. I pretty much just kept the laptop in the car all the time since I never really had to worry about battery life that way. It's an older machine, but it's yours, all included for $50! In the PDX area.
