Hello everyone,
I just installed a flat-bottom steering wheels on my vehicle and everything works fine but it is slightly off to the right. I aligned it up with the little mark that is on the steering column bolt. Before the steering was straight and car didn't pull. Should I have not aligned the mark on the steering with the mark on the steering column bolt? Anybody run into this?

Image just to show the wheel not it being off alignment. If I keep the steering straight, car will go to the left.

Well you might have not been able to tell before without the flat bottom wheel. But you can try to more it one notch to the left or right which ever way you need to go. Thats if it will go and its not splined for that spot and that spot only. If thats the case or if you are able to move it one notch and it goes to far your going to have to get an alignment. Not a big deal. Just a couple solutions for you.
My guess you should be due for an alignment anyways.

same thing happened with mine, just remove it and rotate it one spline to the left

I figured I would have to just move it over a notch just wanted to make sure. I ordered the bigger gear shift paddles that you find on the RS models and they should come in this week. Will have to correct the steering when I take it out to swap the paddles.
Thank you for the feedback :)

Apperantly I had put it one notch over. Fixed it when I took it out and installed the Bigger RS paddles. Very easy to install, i had done this before on my C300 (C63 steering). This should be a must for everybody.

nice dude. ya im really excited... i drove my friends b8.5 and i loved the feel of the flat bottom wheel.
talked to alex@europrice about it , he was really helpful so i just recently ordered one from his site, chestnut stitching flat bottom, alu paddles and s4 badge. cant wait till i get it on now. hope the install isnt too frustrating.
