Changing Air filter RS7

Hello Guys,

Trying to change the air filter on my RS7 to a K&N one. I've already tried to remove the OEM filter from the vehicle without luck, it seems its stuck there. Does anyone here have experience doing this, maybe i'm not removing all the housing and thats the issue?

I had to take off all the housing to change the filter, just so you'd know.

I was gonna say I think the housing needs to come off but wasn't sure...didnt want to lead you astray. Notice any difference with K&N? lol

Well not very noticeable but i think it has a better noise now, slightly more powerful. I will continue to update this thread.

I am gonna get mine in tomorrow, but my car isn't tuned, so I don't expect anything at all. Just got one for free and decided to put it in as my air box is being replaced under warranty.
