loose oil line. it has happened to more than one car.

IIRC, the company that did the install made a custom oil feed line and used a hose clamp on it rather than crimp fittings.

there is a A/B/C fire extinguisher sitting on top of my spare tire. you never know when you'll need it.

Just make sure to install the oil line fittings correctly. Best to use AN fittings and a good braided line.

yea that sucks a bunch. It looks like they even had a fire extinguisher. Must not know how to use it or something. Took them a while to call 911 too. That must have been so hard to watch, I can only imagine how shitty that would be.

a crimped oil feed line? I've never seen an oil feed line that wasn't a braided hose w/ torqued fittings on either end. oil return is another story.

time to put a few c02 sprayers under the hood and a bottle in the trunk. I might be doing that setup when I setup the c02 to cool my IC pipe, fuel bar and fmic.

mike, you dont think that the co2 fumes under your hood have some sort of effect on the way your engine performes when sucked into the intake?

Yes they will since they will hurt power if sucked into the intake. I only plan on using the c02 to cool the IC, fmic and fuel bar before I even start the car up at the track. The ones under the hood will be used in case of a engine fire.

Mike im thinking of spraying c02 into my ic as well. have to save up a couple bucks. there is a place by my house that fills c02 for 10 bucks a tank. i use it for my fresh water fish tank. the plants love it.
