Started to hear a humming sound coming from right rear. Thought it was tires so I rotated the tires. Still there. When I turn right when driving it goes away when the weights off that side. Where should I start. Doesn't really sound like the rear end. Has anyone ever had this problem.

Does it get louder if you go high speeds? Probably wheel bearing. Hopefully the bolt that holds it in isn't rusty and lost it shape. I had to get a new bolt to properly install mine. If i remember correctly the dealer lists 3 different bolt length, wont know till its out.

Just replaced my rear bearing a couple of months ago. Sounded like it was coming from the front but ended up the right rear. Just get the tires off the ground and spin them. You will hear or feel it. The new wheel bearing should come with a new bolt.

Remember to break the hub nut free before you get everything off the spindle. Do it with the wheel on the ground. The hub nut is behind your center cap and can be reached while the car is on the ground. You won't get it free without applying about 200 ft lbs to a breaker bar.

Also make sure the hub's still good or you'll be doing this all over again a year down the road. And you better hope the hub's good because a new one costs $300.

Also think yours is a push-in.

Check whether any of the rear tires are cupped before replacing the wheel bearing. I have once replaced the wheel bearing without knowing it was actually a slightly cupped tire causing the humming noise.
