I'm debating whether it will be dark enough. If not a santorin, then any other color will due.

When I took these pics, it was a very bright day, and I have a tan interior, so it looks alot lighter.

Here is a bunch. They both have 20% in the rear and 30% in the front doors. The A4 has the Ecru interior(very light) and the S4 has black. It makes a difference. They A4 I always wished I got all 20 because the interior is so light. I am happy with the %30 on the S4 though. It looks different every way you look at it and whether or not you are looking in one window and out the other or at the interior. But I'm sure your aware of that...so I have lots of angles. I miss my a4. The first pic is right after I got it and the last is right before I sold it. Just had it over 3 years.

35 is not dark enough. lol...but I think I'm toeing the line if I go 20% with the local authorities. Is the tint dark at night? How is the night time driving? Are you blinded by other drivers still and can you still have good vision?

People behind you with highbeams won't really bother you with tint. I've had very good luck doing the lighter front windows. My last 5 cars have had tinted windows. All of them had 20 on the rears 1 had nothing on the front windows and another had 20 on the front windows(the rest had 30-35 on the front windows). The only one i have ever gotten pulled over for tint in(5times 3 citations) is the one with all 20. It was also bright red with all black interior. They looked real dark on that car. Darker color cars with ligher interiors can get away with darker tint.

Also the actual percentage will be less if tested with a meter. I think the average is 7%. My car with all 20 tested at 11% with the state polices light transmittance meter. That was by two different state police officers from two different jurisdictions a few months apart.

I had the same dilema when I had my car(Also Santorin) tinted. I thought 35% wasn't enough but I was scared about getting 20% because of the cops. Well, I went with 35% and I'm happy with it. I have the light grey cloth int. and it still looks dark and classy without looking like a wannabe gangster. Night time vision is not reduced, I am not blinded by high beams coming from the rear of the car or even the sides. Also, the factory tint on the moonroof helps cut down on light getting in the car from the top which adds to the overall effect of the tint.

35% also...

Onxy interior...Santorin Blue exterior...

I would not go darker with the tint unless I lived in Arizona...

It looks mirror like in some of these photos, but it was not that reflective in actual life.

I have 26% (colorado legal limit) and I think it is perfect....I have a dark black interior and think this tint is perfect. I would not want it any lighter than that for sure. I am very glad colorado has such awesome tint laws.

it really depends on the angle the car is viewed at and how much light is coming throught the windshield and sunroof.

this is solarguard's fancy 35% stuff on all 7 windows.

looks good. I'm pretty set on 35%. The local laws in PA are whack. Hopefully i get away with it.
