I'm really looking into getting a chip soon here. I have a 99 so It would have to get soldered in. I've searched for hours about chips and I know all the stuff about them. But which chip in your opinion is the best performer. I'm looking to go the APR route is there something more agressive for the non dbw ( drive by wire )?

GIAC is more agressive

Why does your sig say you are already chipped?

BTW this chip talk is ridiculous

for once i agree on Evil's suggestion to SEARCH!!!

this is the most argued/discussed topic

wow haven't had one of these posts in a while...i hate it when people say "use the search button", but this is pushing it =P

anyway, the general consensus is that you can't go wrong with apr or giac. apr is supposedly smoother, giac is a lil more aggressive (i have giac).

i think it depends more on what route you wanna go. if you want to eventually go k04 or something, go giac (you get money back if you're already chipped). if you're going for an apr stage 3 as your goal, then go apr. otherwise, it really doesn't matter.
