Got to work this morning, locked my car and the alarm chirp sounded like a bird that is choking. Sounded completely different than it normally does. Unlocked it and locked it again, same thing. It's 20 degrees here today but don't think that would affect it. Haven't had anything notable happen to the car. Ideas?

Perform CPR? No, just kidding, haha.....I couldn't resist. Maybe the horn is going bad? Keep an ear on it. If it continues, I'm sure it would be covered under the warranty.

It was 8 degrees this morning when I left for work (in Northern AZ, oddly we got snow). Had a similar issue, had to grab something from the car before leaving, decided to take the Blazer instead. Chirp sounded really odd. Its blowing pretty good, so maybe so condensation froze over or something.

Glad I'm not the only one who had noticed it.

It's the cold weather. I've noticed every time it's cold it's muffled.

Isn't there a way to switch the alarm chirp to car horn via VAGCOM?
