Okey!
i got 20 mails about how my exhaust setup is, so well i'm putting all the information here.

I used, 2.5" Pipes, and 3 mufflers, the ones i used was Simons from Sweden, so i dont know if they excist in US.
i did it like this

Here are the artn nr i used. but i had them make it so that it will fit my B8 S4

1X U3463DR with dual in and out
2x U316300R with singel in and out (you can use singel in and dual out also if you want that.)
and X-Pipe.
The X-Pipe is handmade for me, so theres no brand on it :P

Well at low RPMS and high gear it will drone a bit inside, but if im at 6th gear on 62MPH it will not drone so much at all
but if im 20-30MPH with 6th gear and do the fot on the pedal, it will drone a bit from 2.5k to 3.5k then it will be gone.

i Will make a video with a better camera inside the car.

It actually was a firework somone blew hahaha i thought so to first, but my friend told me that it was a a firework :) im not using dsg im using manual 6ths gear

Ok so far this is what i came up with I've been digging, so these parts besides the xpipe arnt In the states so overseas is the only option , you can actually get these parts from amazon uk.. So for the mufflers , xpipe and resonator ( u3463dr ) I'm looking at $430 in parts , this doesn't include shipping and the misc pipping, clamps etc .. So I'd say prob $550 in parts and shipping.. I'm going to talk a local exhaust shop and see what they would charge for a custom install .. If can keep this under 1k Il be doing this as soon as get the parts in.

Also, if you can provide schematics for the exhaust. For example, how far between the mid resonator and the downpipe connection, what is the angle of the X-pipe, how long are the bent portions, etc...

Sorry if I'm being a bit over-enthusiastic but that exhaust sounds amazing.

I'm in love with this exhaust! Wonder how drone would be on a DSG though, easy to overcome in a Manual, but the DSG is so dang finicky.

Im buying those headers.. Once I do a clutch job, I'll have them throw that in at the same time. It sounds mean but it's more for performance purposes.

Are you talking about the actual cats or the resonators on the downpipes. Our cars have both. Cats are up toward the engine then followed by the resonators on the downpipes and then the center resonator followed by the 2 mufflers at the rear. Just wondering if you replaced after the cats or after the resonators

I read this thread yesterday and instantly fell in love with the sound! I already emailed Simons in Sweeden and they responded giving me their US Distributor. Viva Performance. Who i have also already emailed and heard back from. Conor is the sales guy helping me out and he is currently looking into pricing to ship the 3 components to my door in San Diego. I will keep everyone posted on what i find.

It’s from the cats back, 2.5'' x pipe, one set of resonator and a set of mufflers connected up with 2.5" pipe. There is another video without background music, it’s done with just a phone, and there is some back ground noise.

Funny you mention that. My roommate took his BMW there because he had also heard good things and he needed some new cats installed so he could pass smog. So i brought him there to pick his car up and chatted with Ed. He is a good guy but he didn't want to do a stainless system for me and wasn't really interested in doing a custom system if i brought him mufflers. He wanted me to use his magnaflows or something.

I've heard there is a shop in Oceanside, RPM motorsports or something, and they do good work. Just have to get around to bringing my car to them to have them estimate how much it would cost to do.

Really hoping you are still around Lenti! Pretty sure i remember you from the B7 platform years ago. Your car was sick back then. You had some crazy dark grey with like construction orange i think Tron kinda thing going on.

Anyway, this is the sound I'm looking for and the prices I'm willing to pay. But i want to keep the quad tips.

Trying to confirm that the proper part for the dual tips is U347663R. It's freaking 50 £ more expensive though, sounds like a lot. Not sure it's worth it, but i feel like just single tips would look ricey, and i really don't like the oval tips for some reason...
