Hi All,
I've seen a youtube video of a guy using the iPhone HDMI out adapter, to a HDMI>RCA converter, and finally the AMI > RCA cable to mirror his iPhone screen on the MMI.
I know the HDMI>RCA converter needs a USB power supply, and i don't have the USB port in my armrest cubby box. MY question is, could i instead use the iPhone > VGA cable, then VGA > RCA, and RCA > AMI to achieve the same?
The difference being that VGA > RCA converters do not require a power source.
