New RS5 bumper not blacked out behind grill

Noticed the new RS5 limited edition for 2015 doesn't black out the bumper behind the RS Grill - looks like it is body colored behind the grill maybe?

I think it looks body color because of the car color used. To my eyes, the crash bar does not look any different than what you see on someone who does an RS grill swap and did not paint their bar black

So you think that on a red car, that bar would be painted red (body color)? I highly doubt that. Not only would it look awful but it would also man that Audi would have to take the time to paint a piece that is unfinished otherwise on other models and that will be hidden behind the grill. I can't see them doing that

On the RS models there is already a piece of plastic covering the bumper behind the grill, it is just typically black, so not that big of a deal for them to paint it, especially since it is a limited edition. It is also only available in 2 colors, both grey and they are only making 75 of them, so I guess they could paint them all.

+1. It's the lighting. It's the standard black crash bar cover but why listen to the guy that works for audi [;)]
