Planned changes

Dip grill √
Plate delete, tow hooked mounted with RhoPlate 2√

Unitronic Stage 1+ √
B8 S4 install guide (http://www.carbonio.com/apr/audi/CI100024.pdf)
Finished installing the intake tonight. Fitment is good and the install was pretty straight forward. Sound is nice. It's not RocEuro loud but whine is increased and it looks really nice I think. The forced air piece has a nice large inlet and removes the restriction of air flow.

Gorgeous car. Black on black always looks great.
I would love to know what's involved in fitting the B8.5 steering wheel. That's the flat-bottomed one, right?

Correct. From what Audi has told me. Nothing it bolts up and that is that.

I just bought a 2012 S4 from Vancouver, I pick it up on the 30th, can't wait.
I'm going to be following your thread as I will be doing some mods hopefully in the near future.
Here is a pic of it:

I am thinking gloss gun metal for the peelers. I will of course post pics.
As for the trim, I think gloss would work. I personally was thinking matte as the rubber seals on the windows are already matte and the grill replacement piece isnt' that glossy imo.
I think I found the exhaust system I want.

Not a fan of oval tips on this platform.
Konrad

It's not so much about the oval tips as it is about the valve ports. Quiet when you want that, loud when you want that.

Afters added. Rear kinda looks the same in the pics. Maybe cause it's not on 100% flat ground? Will measure it out in tomorrow at the meet.

Seems like the Super Sports should be lower than that for sure, even though it is right after installation. Are you sure those are for the B8?

Ya, I am sure. The spring colour is correct. Here is another pic I took this morning on level ground.

5 days on the super sports and so far it's great. Ride quality is better then I expected from the springs. I have been driving very familiar roads and hitting dips and things on purpose to try it out.
Bounce return is really improved over the stock springs. I guess that is expected given their added stiffness and weight. So far I am really happy with it. Give it another month and see if they soften up.

How's the ride on the super sport springs?
Hey Boost. The ride is good. It's firm but not to firm and the rebound is less the stock. It isn't as great as coil overs. But the look and feel for the money is worth it. The only thing messed up about it?
The quoted labour on that is like 5 hours! Crazy.

Loving the Hawks flag in the background ;) Achtuning's is kinda my only choice for quality aftermarket work... Good experience? What did you get done?

Had them put the wheels on and balance. Also installed AWE touring exhaust. The guys there where great. One of the best shop experiences I have ever had.
So you run OEM rims all the time?

That AWE Touring sure sounds nice! How do you like it so far? Did you buy it from Achtuning as well?
No, I still like aftermarket wheels or OEM+ status. I have a set of VMR 710's from the GTI I traded in that I may install, but I'm holding back because they're 19x8 ET45. I just find it as sort of an identity crisis when I see (for example) an Audi with Mercedes wheels, etc. But again, everyone has their own taste, and I can respect that.

To answer both your questions about the Exhaust. I bought it used and they installed it for me. I am running non res downpipes. It's a bit loud for me at 1200-2300rpm when driving normally.
With that said it sounds amazing when you hammer it. People GTFO the way when they hear me coming. There is a big cruise up here in a few weeks and then Leavenworth in a couple months.
I am going to try some res down pipes see if that helps hopefully before the meets.
Thanks again for the post Mike, pretty cool that someone from the company chimed in and ask how I am liking.
Cheers!

Final mods added for this build. Django is complete.
Last mods;
Went to PG Performance and purchased Unitronic. I spent the extra $100 and bought the cable so that I can flash it myself if needed. So far I am very happy with this software. (happy to answer questions about it)
Added BlackVue 650 front and rear cams
Last but not least, added the custom sub in the trunk cubby and removed the factory sub to help port in the bass into the cabin.
