I wrote it down somewhere, but obviously it was not a good place to put it.
Pretty sure it goes :

1 - Stage II 91 octane
2 - Stage II 93 octane
3 - Stage II 100 octane
4 - Valet

Or is valet #1, making everything else drop down a slot? I want to switch to 91 octane - suppose valet will only let me get up to 50 km/h?

Ask the shop that flashed you what they set in each slot. Its depends what you chose to have included

Mine are:

1 - Stock
2 - Stage II 93 octane
3 - Stage II 100 octane
4 - Stage II 104 octane

Edit: logically they either put valet in 1 or 4 slots, prob easiest to try both settings and figure out which is valet (APR claims it makes the car a "task" to drive lol). I'm going to assume they put the fuels in ascending order of octane

No way of knowing as they are installed where you designated. Second on calling the shop or APR.

Question, the S4 comes with a factory Valet mode, is this deleted/deactivated when tuned automatically? Truthfully, I don't use valet's and I don't have kids so I don't really see the benefit of this tune mode especially if it means I have to give up a performance tune slot.

The Valet button in the car doesn't quite work like APR's valet mode, think the cars valet mode just locks out the mmi from being used. With apr's valet program it limits the rpms and power available to a point where the car cannot be abused. Useless program for me too but I can see why someone would want it.

Ah, the salesmen stated it regulated RPMs as well...LOL...I didn't care so I didn't press him on it or look into it anymore.

Honestly I haven't touched that button once in the ~4 years i've had the car! It may actually limit power though I remember my salesmen saying it didn't. Maybe someone else can confirm
