I plan to get a replacement supercharger pulley, stage 2 (1+) ECU flash, and DSG transmission flash on my 2015 S4 this month. Question is whether it will be REVO or GIAC/AWE products. For a number of reasons I am not considering APR's products at all.
Based on my research and communication with my local tuners, folks at GIAC, AWE, REVO, and forum members I am fairly confident that REVO can supply all three for my 2015. I understand that REVO utilizes a different pulley set up than does AWE.
It is substantially less clear whether GIAC and AWE can supply all three as AWE indicated it has received reports that the pulley has changed on the MY'15 B8.5 . . . therefore the GIAC stage 2 ECU flash is not available unless and until AWE comes out with a replacement pulley that will work. GIAC indicated that they have worked on both MY'14 and MY'15 B8.5s and they are not aware of any change to the pulley system on these latest model S4s. My local tuners, and I by extension, are a bit caught in between AWE and GIAC on this difference of opinion or understanding.
Can anybody here offer experience or information about whether the AWE pulley that has been successfully used on MY'14 S4s will work on MY'15 S4s as well? (As indicated below, AWE just confirmed their pulley set up will work on my particular MY'15 S4!) With this confirmation from AWE, my focus is now shifting to the differences between the DSG transmission flash offered by GIAC and REVO . . . .
