I just installed a brand new set of OEM wipers on my RS4, and they immediately began skipping and squeaking on every wipe, regardless of how much water is on the windshield. When they start or change direction, they make an even more obnoxious rubber-squeak.

I've washed the car, cleaned the windshield with Diamondite, and clayed the windshield with a Nanoskin Autoscrub. None of that seemed to help.
Are the wipers defective? Is there anything else I should try to the windshield? I hate noisy wipers, I love them silent as can be, so any help would be appreciated. :)
