RS7/S7 Sport Exhaust

Ordering a 2016 S7 soon and see that Sport Exhaust is now available in the Sport Pkg. Can someone with Sport Exhaust in an RS7 tell me if it is controllable by a button or by selecting Dynamic or Sport modes? Does it just sound louder at all times? I'm not sure if the S7 will work the same way, but it's probably likely.

None of the reviews of the S6 have said anything about a button, so I'm guessing it's just a bit louder all the time.

in the RS7 you can either put the car in Dynamic or use the Individual mode to operate the sport exhaust. It is about 40% louder and gives a lot more burble when you lift off the gas.

I cant help but giggle everytime I lift!

I was hoping that it was controllable in some way. Now if Audi can just get their act together on pricing I can place an order and get a few giggles of my own next spring.

Also if you switch to Sport mode instead Drive with the shifter by pulling back it changes the sound a lot with backfires when you lift off the gas. Sounds best in Dynamic and Sport mode.

Not that because I have RS7 but I suspect Audi would make sport exhaust in S6/7 to be as loud. After all they have to put RS models at the top of the food chain.

Anyway, I believe it will work the same way as how it does in RS models.

By the way, Audi is starting the 2016 builds. My order is already in. Had to do it based on percent off msrp since there is still no pricing. I'm hoping for pricing any day now though.

I think you meant to say that the S7 would not be as loud as the RS7 and I fully expect that to be the case. I'm just looking for the ability to occasionally enjoy some extra sweet tones from the beast. Love your Suzuka RS by the way.

Thank you! I placed the order over a week ago but last Friday Audi finally let the dealer put it into the system and get things rolling. I'd expect pricing to be out asap.
