Spring Install Question

I've searched...and searched...but still can't find a definitive answer. I am installing H&R OE Sport Springs this weekend and have read that there may some sort of perch located in the rear that needs to be removed during install (ADS equipped). I have talked to a couple install shops and they both said they have never heard of this perch. Just looking for some clarity before I tackle this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as well as any tips that some can offer who have done the job before! Thanks.

the consensus was to take it out as the springs are made for non ads cars and the ads cars have a shorter stock spring.
