I spoke with someone today from a high-end custom shop and they said that APR is about to release a more powerful ECU tune for the S7/RS7. He wasn't sure when or how much more, but as I was scheduling the appointment to get the stage 1 tune done, he told me about it. He said that I'd be able to get the new one for free, but was curious to know if anyone had heard more about it.

I've only heard of stage 2 coming out .
The S7/RS7 don't share a tune. The S6/S7 do and the RS6 (not in the US) and RS7 do.

I wasn't suggesting that they shared; APR was coming out with new tunes for both.

Revisions are always happening, Apr as a company has hit a rough patch most people with our cars do not know or read other forums but if you do your research you will see a large amount of controversy has come to light after their buy out.
Granted they are not making hardware for our cars (or re-branding it)
The thing i like to tell people with tuners is pick the shop you like the most and then use the tuner they trust, this will allow you to get better support when something goes wrong.
I mean hell even revo has a tune out for the 4.0tt that is port flashing at this point so you have every tuner to choose from now

as for who has made the most power on a s6/s7 platform that is currently held by Unitronic, Apr still has the fastest rs7's, but i think that platform has a lot of growth to do. I for one am excited to see more people buy our cars and try and make them go faster i am really hoping flying tomatoes gets a c7 car soon, He will for sure let APR put bigger turbos on his car and i would love to see what they do with their stage III setup (we all know he got a nice engine swap with the rs4) i am also hoping that AMS comes out with something, they made a post a while back but have not offered us any teasers since.
