Good afternoon, fellas.
I have some annoying ball joint noise up front, (129k miles) and just want to replace all the front control arms, bushings, and ball joints. There seems to be quite an array of aftermarket kits that include all the parts, and the price range is very broad. I'm not afraid to go high end if it's worth it. Anyone have any warnings, things to look out for, fitting issues, etc with certain brands? I'd like to know before I drop a couple grand. Thanks!

People have great results with this kit from what I've read: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/audi-volkswagen-suspension-kit-passat-a4-a6-s4-13-piece-4d0498998

There are better kits for sure, but you'll pay almost double the price in some instances. ECS has some good kits too, but they're a little more expensive for the Febi and Meyle HD kits.

Edit: Make sure you check out this thread if you're going to buy the FCP kit. These prices are REALLY good and the "group buy" is still going on. Scroll down to view all the different options and kits they have available. I'm probably going to jump on the 13 piece kit for $239.00 if that's still the price. I sent a PM to see if that's the same price during Black Friday.

Well, the FCP kit looks really nice, and the price is much less than I have seen for others. Thanks for the feedback, gentlemen. Any thoughts on springs/struts? If I'm doing the control arms, may as well do it all while I have it apart.

Been running the FCP kit for a couple thousand miles now, no complaints whatsoever.
