Got a person here on my local CL selling a set of LM Blizzaks in 225 45 18. He said that I can take'em for $400. Good deal? BTW, I would have posted this in general, but that doesn't seem to be a high-trafficked area.

I think 225/45/18 is too much for the A6 C6... You will need 225/40/18 or 245/40/18, values that are valid from Audi. Only Audi A6 C7 supports x/45/18.
You can go to 225/45/17, that's also good.

Can anyone else confirm this? I'm running C6.5 18's. They are 18x8 with a 48mm offset.

go on tirerack.com and it will show you what the right size is for 17 18 19 ect.

I appreciate the response, but Tire Rack isn't going to help in this case. I know these will fit my wheels based on their width and diameter. I'm referring to fitment within my wheels wells so that there isn't any rub.

I think I found the answer. http://www.audiworld.com/forums/a6-s6-c6-platform-discussion-58/what-thickest-sidewall-i-can-put-stock-18s-2607570/#post22542971

These should work fine as far as diameter is concerned.
