I have recently purchased a 06 A4 and noticed that every time that it rains the floor in the back behind the passenger seat gets wet. I have checked the sunroof drains all 4 and they are okay. I have also checked under the battery and that is also okay. The rubber piece under battery had already been removed. So I really can't find out where this water is coming from. Also I have noticed when braking or parking on an angle I hear water sloshing around for a few seconds somewhere in the back of the car. I'm not sure if that's my gas tank or just water that's inside the car due to rain. Any help finding this problem is appreciated.

Just how exactly did you check the sunroof plenum, did you pour water towards the rear ends of both sides and look for water to drain out the wheel wells?

Did you also lower the headliner and check to see if any of the water was leaking out at the point the tubing connects to the plenum. The drains will let out water just fine; it's the ends of the tubing that gets old and will allow water leak where they are connected to the plenum. Usually happens in the C pillar and sometimes ruins your headliner; wet passenger floor is also a symptom.

This was a class action suit for years up to 2007 back in 2010. If you didn't get the letter or weren't the owner then, you're on your own. They closed the case.
