Has anyone used these on a b7 a4?
for the front:

For the back:

I kinda feel like these would look neat at night, but maybe too flashy. I dunno. I'm torn. I might try it.

I did see them on a SQ5 pictured here, and it looks dope. But my car isn't black. It's dolphin grey, which might be close enough at night.

What do you think? Too flashy? I've already installed a set of FlyLEDs and am working on a replacement that uses light tubes like the 13-14 a4/a5/q5 models and thought the white might complement well on the front on my RS6 type grille. But it might not.
And what to wire to on the front? I think the company recommends them for the back and tying them into the license plate lights, but I know there can be problems with license plate lights and an error or something, think this would cause any of that?

Thanks. Flame suit on. I can take it.

Only if you pair them up with these bad boys. I'd do white in front red in back to keep the same theme going though.

In the end, it's your car and you need to do what pleases you. For me personally, those rings take everything an Audi stands for, away. They're a bit childish looking. Way too gaudy to be on an Audi ( see what I did there)

I also see them as another thing that can go wrong. If they start burning out or not working properly, its just not worth the headaches, time, or money. Less is more, polish up those rings and let em shine naturally

Look at the bright side, it will soon be x-mas. Light it up like a Christmas tree.

Do what makes you happy. It's legal in some states now so have at it... if you catch muh drift. But seriously. Don't do that.

Personally I'm not a fan but if you like it, go for it. Sorry about the flaming people are giving you.

I fully expected the flaming. Honestly kinda wanted it. I like them, but I like the clean elegance of my car. But I like lights too much to not see them and be all "ooooh!" y'all have helped deter me from them. Especially the Honda comment. Too late for the door lights, but those are hidden most of the time.

Wait... Was that a gay joke? Or a pot joke? I guess I don't catch your drift. Too hard on the tires anyways.

Yeah it was a gay joke but it's cool. I just think if you want more flashy rings... upgrade your rear emblem to the A8 rings and call it a day. I'd be worried about those things burning out, looking like shit when that happens and then having a hole drilled in my trunk for the wiring and being screwed lol

Yeah, it's the drilling a hole that really turned me off. I just saw that featured QS5 on nickscarblog and thought it looked neat.

Lol. Totally thought it was a pot joke. And admittedly, I saw those rings on a blacked out A5 when they first came out and I was like, oooh, that's kinda cool. But then I saw an Accord with a fast and furious kit, wing the size of a picnic table and a light-up Honda emblem and was like, yeah, NVM. ;)

Buy the rings, turn them into a Christmas ornament. Win | Win

Don't trust Martin, buttsex was definitely required.
