2002 Audi allroad in Olympic Blue (Sprint Blue) (http://www.panjo.com/buy/2002-audi-allroad-in-olympic-blue-sprint-blue-159770)
I have decided to put my Olympic Allroad up for sale. Many of you know the rarity of the Sprint Blue allroads, but for those who may not, here is a quick link you can read. 1 of 10 offered by Audi in this color.
I got this vehicle in October of 2013. I know the previous owner well. We made a trade and I acquired this allroad. Since Oct 2013, I have put 1500 miles on the car. The car had a Torque Converter fault, and required a new TC, which ultimately helped me make the decision to swap the car to a 6MT. I had the car listed for sale earlier this year, as a TipTronic car, but everyone complained that I was selling a car with a bad TC, so I have resolved the issue, and offering a better car for sale.
The vehicle comes with a list of previous maintenance records (see the list of maintenance, below). Mechanically, the car has been very well maintained. Cosmetically, the car is in beautiful shape. I have only seen 3 of these Olympic Blue allroads in person, and mine is by far the cleanest one I?ve seen. The paint is in great shape. The interior is in great shape. According to Carfax, the car was involved in an ?accident? back in January 2004. The only info that Carfax states is ?vehicle inspected after an accident or other incident?. This is when the car had 21k on the odometer. After I acquired the vehicle, I asked the previous owner if he knew of any ?accident? the car had been in. He was very surprised at the question, and had no idea that Carfax showed an incident. I have inspected the car, and the only place I can see any paint work is a paint line on the driver side, rear door jam. It looks like the driver side quarter panel may have been painted, but absolutely no signs of body damage or inconsistency in the paint. Most people wouldn?t be able to notice what I?ve just disclosed, but I am being 100% up front and honest about this car. It is in amazing shape.
The allroad sits at 134k. The swap is completed, and I am just waiting on one small piece to arrive this week and the car will be 100% put back together, and a running and driving vehicle. The donor vehicle was an A6 that was serviced it?s whole life at Audi. The 01E that is now in this allroad, was rebuilt by Audi, and it is a very smooth driving transmission. The clutch is OEM, along with a genuine Audi slave and master cylinder. A 6 speed APB harness was used to complete the wiring. I have done my best to keep this car OEM.
This allroad has cold weather package with the heated steering wheel. Rear parking sensors, Bose, HID, Rear heated seats.
Previous maintenance with paper receipt to go with the car.
Valve Cover gaskets 133k
Aux water pump 125k
Coolant pipe o rings 125k
Secondary air pump 125k
Reman Alternator installed 127k
Rebuilt K03's due to excessive smoke 125k
Timing belt with tensioners 119k
Water pump 119k
T stat 119k
Serp belt 119k
Arnott Gen II suspension kit w/ 402 mod 119k
Front Brake pads and rotors 119k
My price is $13,000 for the car, with the factory 17? allroad wheels, or I will sell it with the BBS VZ wheels for $14,000. I understand that many people will immediately say my price is too high. I am not looking to deal on price. It will take the right buyer, and I want this car to go to someone who is as obsessed with it as I am, and will take good car of it. Considering the price of Olympic blue allroads (if you are lucky enough to find one, and if the other 9 are available for sale at the time you are looking) are bringing $8-$9k on the current market (based off of recent transactions that I am aware of), adding in the cost of 6MT swap parts, adding in the labor you?d have to pay someone, or the time you?d have to invest in yourself, adding in the savings that come with the list of maintenance that has been done (all the major 2.7T and allroad issues have been taken care of), and finally the rarity of a vehicle, I feel my price is fair. Not looking for offers at this time. I will drive the vehicle until someone wants to purchase it.
