My favorite feature is going to the store and getting the groceries and then going home - rocks!

You'll be able to hit those corners hard.

purposely took trac off took corners at 50 not so much as a yogurt out of place. As long as the lady friend isn't in the car, it's balls to the walls going to get groceries....it truly is the little things in life.
Uhhh.... Huh? Is that a B8.5? <running to the garage to check my old B8> Holy awesome batman! I had no idea those where there! Thanks!

It really is, it's hidden.
One of those features that you would stumble upon a few months into the car.

there's also a net that you can attach for those smaller items that aren't in bags -> cases of beer for example so the boys don't go sliding around the trunk getting all worked up before you pop the cap

They likely will never get rid of them, just charge you $0.05 a bag like they do here. Cause of course the big grocery industry isn't making billions and they are feeling the pinch...

Seattle got rid of plastic bags a couple years ago. Even paper bags are $.05 each.

yea when i found out my B7 had them i was like sweet awesome these are the best. So you can tear it up from the grocery store and the oranges won't roll around on the aggressive ride home lol. I love them on the B8 now too

12-06-2014, 08:32 PM
I had them in my '06 Jetta.
They hold a 6 pack of beer real nice as well. No bottle rolling around in your trunk. In fact they are balanced well enough to hold a 5 pack since you don't want to worry about your 5 beers crashing into each other in the trunk while you drink the 6th on the way home.

Just picked up a set of Costco reusable bags today. Two pairs of handles on each bag, the shorter pair is perfect for the grocery hooks.

I actually had my cargo net hooked into those grocery hooks for a while. I knew it felt wrong but after a while it seemed to work really well for me. Until it came loose and slingshotted at me. True-ish story.
PS the Calgary's worst driver thing has a thread in chatterbox.

I had no friggin idea about those hooks! This is gonna help out a lot! Also... no clue that the visors slid back for the side window. Great stuff. A bit ashamed I didn't know about this sooner. Had this car since 2011 and this is the 1st I've heard of these features. Derp!

What's the worst grocery getter feature?
Me having to get them is the worst feature. BTW, thanks OP, it's nice to discover a feature I didn't know about. So awesome :D
I've been using these Velcro-bottomed blocks. Apparently I'm a noob, but now that I know about the grocery bag hooks I'm not anymore!

Also, you have to set it as public, then just get the url link for it, and then you can share.
