After many requests, we have put together a kit for B8 owners that want to add the European electric folding mirror option. As you drive, the mirrors are out in their normal position, when you park they automatically fold themselves inward to protect from damage.

With this kit and a Saturday afternoon, your vehicle will look like it came from the factory with folding mirrors. This folding mirror kit comes with all items needed to make this option a reality. Straight from the European parts bin!

All parts included in this kit are Genuine Audi. As you mentioned the only things you'll be reusing are the mirror caps and mirror glass. Everything else is included in this kit.

really not that bad at all. took a few hours and if you have vagcom, coding takes less than 5 minutes.

I think they have this option in Europe but they do pay more for an S4 than we do if I'm not mistaken.

How much does the coding cost at the dealer?

I would imagine you would be charged at least an hours worth of labor for them to pull your car in to a bay and hook up VAG-COM.

That's assuming they know what coding needs to be done.
