I am new to the Audi world (new '15 S4) and looking around for bit and pieces of info to get the new baby ready, particularly for bad weather.

Where do you recommend getting the all-weather / rubber floor mats? I should have probably asked the dealer to throw them in, but didn't think of it?

Where is the best place to look? Would you go with the original audi ones vs weather tech vs something else?

Thanks! I am learning lots of good new things on this site.

Thanks. Is there a rubber mat for the trunk? Or generally not necessary? What about OEM mats vs weather tech?

For snowy weather go with WeatherTech

If you don't get snow and just want plan old rubber mats then the OEM rubber monster mats they sell at the dealership are decent.

Trunk liner is 8K5061180
OEM Trunk Liner (http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B8_S4-Quattro-3.0T/Interior/ES12127/)- $129

I have the OEM mats and I would agree that the WeatherTech FloorLiner will probably do a better job of containing all the muck. OEM mats vs WeatherTech All Weather Mats are pretty equal.

WeatherTech FloorLiners (http://www.weathertech.com/audi/2015/a4-s4-rs4/floorliner-digitalfit/bodystyle/sedan/)- $180 set
WeatherTech Mats (http://www.weathertech.com/audi/2015/a4-s4-rs4/floor-mats-all-weather/bodystyle/sedan/)- $55 front only
WeatherTech Cargo Tray (http://www.weathertech.com/audi/2015/a4-s4-rs4/cargo-liner/bodystyle/sedan/)- $110

This topic is well discussed in this thread.

Weather tech's are nicer in quality and keeping snow and water contained in the winter months. But I don't really care for them. I think they are to big and bulky and they end up looking like crap in a few years. I liked the all weather matts that they use to make for all previous audi cars prior to the B8. The all weather matt they make now is nice yes but its not going to last to the abuse of winter months and doesn't hold snow and water well. I was very upset with the quality I saw when I bought them. But im ok with them since I will not be drivng my car in the winter months. Best thing I would say is what do you need the matts to do for you and look. I would look at pics of the weather techs in a car first. But is all personal opinion on looks. To me I just don't care for them.

My dealer offered to get me Audi mats at 50% off MSRP - do you think that's a good deal? I think they are like 155 for mats and same for the trunk one originally...

My car came with the Audi all weather/rubber mats (as well as the stock carpet mats). If the car didn't come with them I wouldn't give a second thought to the Weather Tech mats..... They are without a doubt the best in the business.

I'm not a fan of all weather mats at all and always drove with the carpet ones, but Maxpider Kagu (made by U-Ace) caught my attention recently. Had a chance to compare weather tech and maxpider in person couple of weeks ago and IMHO is maxpider is the better product. That's just me tho.

Bought mine from ebay, since I couldn't find them anywhere else

Check out Aries 3D mats from Autoanything.com. They look very similar to the ebay one (3D Maxpider Kagu Mats), and a few dollars cheaper ($148).
They are like the Weathertech, but look much nicer, and are cheaper.
