Map as default screen when in Navigation mode - B8 - is it possible?

There certainly could be a way, but I have yet to figure out how to make the map the default screen when in navigation mode. Even if I shut my car down with the map up, next time I start it up, it's at the navigation input area instead of on the map where I left it. I know the newer A6's will start right back at the map because I've had two loaners and both work as expected. I've had owned other cars that will start up to the map as well.

If there is a way, can someone let me know!

Your just talking about the nav map not the nav directions right? But mine starts at the map if i last used the map before shut down i have a b8.5
