Stage 1 S6/S7 vs. RS7 transmission characteristics

Anyone driven both and can compare s-tronic vs. RS tuned 8 spd tip regarding shift speed or quality.

I had the s-tronic in my B8 S4 and my SQ5 has an 8spd tip that is near as good or dare I say better. Now the S6 engine trans combo drives so different from the S4 that when I drive the SQ it feels much more immediate than the S6 and I was curious how the RS models feel.

It is very smooth and very fast. My RS5 is an S tronic and is a little rougher in shifting than my RS7. The 8 speed shifts as fast as it does in terms of my perception. I can't say that of my old RS6. The tips have come a VERY long way. Anyway I think the 8 speed in the RS7 is fantastic...felt the same about the feel in the S8s I drove as well.
