V8T badges

I noticed many of you keep the V8T badges. I removed mine almost as soon as I got it. For some reason I feel they just don't match the car... almost like it was an afterthought. I did the same for the V6T badges on the S4 and SQ5 but that made more sense since there really is no T on those. Just curious what makes you decide to keep or remove the V8T?

On lighter colored cars, I think they look better removed. On darker colored cars, I think they provide a nice contrast.

Had my clear bra put on last week and installer had to take off V8T...I'm not putting them back on...looks better w/o them imo. S7 Nardo Gray. I agree with inferno...badge probably would have added more on a dark car.

my .02 is that it depends on what style you are going for. If you feel your car is understated and you want to differentiate from all the plain a6's then leave them on. If you want to look incognito and sleeper style then take them off. personally i would take them off if it came with it after having the car for a while, altho i admit i would consider V6T badges for my a6 if it didnt already have the /Supercharged badges since i dont have no 2.0t [:d]

2014 Phantom Black S6-black optic
Had mine removed with install of full front clear bra. Wont put back on. Dont mine the sleeper look, in fact as I get older(56y.o.), I prefer it.

Liked the red supercharged badges on my silver S4(sold) though.

I don't like them. Tacky IMO. Plus they get in the way of a clean full fender clear bra film installation (unless you re-install the badges right over the film). Immediately upon delivery, I removed the "V8" from the RS4 and the "V6T" from the SQ5. I was glad the RS7 did not have the "V8T" badge from the factory at all. Saved me the trouble.

I removed mine when I put xpel on the fenders but I honestly would of done it anyways for the cleaner look.

I don't like chrome so I had my emblems painted black and installed the Black Optics grill installed. Also painted the S6 aluminum trim in the lower grills of the front bumper, and had my window trim wrapped in black vinyl.

All black looks nice. Never considered doing it with this car but your pics make me rethink it. What size spacers are you running?

Some badges look better than others, but do agree with those who think the V8 badges look a bit out of place.

Spacers are 17.5mm F and 20mm R

I didn't like them when they were chrome, but then I saw what the Velos guys did with their S8 and I like that. Very stealth with just the T red. When I paint the calipers red with black Brembo logos, I will also paint some new V8T badges like this. This will make me happy.

Finally got around to doing this with my S6. I think it came out well, looks very low key, but the red T still draws your eye to the location slightly. Very happy with the end result.
