Have a new cabrio that has some faint circles, lines, and such in the windshield...that are unresponsive to the usual cleaning products. The shapes look a lot like crop circles, likely from the factory.

Any magic potions or other ideas would be highly appreciated.

you can try using a clay bar. you would be surprised by how many contaminants get stuck on there.

I have the same problem, did you get them to go away?

Are you guys talking brand new cars here?
The dealer you should fix that for you, plus, bringing them up to their attention may trigger a TSB recall sine it may impair your field of vision under certain circumstances
I don't know. Just a suggestion...

Yeah new cars, well for me anyways, I already took it to them, they couldn't get them off, so they emailed pictures to their district rep to see what the next step is, I've tried goo gone, nuglass, stoner, nothing has removed them yet. Just wanted to try to get it off myself and not have my windshield replaced if that ends up being the end result.

If it is on the outside you could try to polish the glass, but like other have said, go and take it to the dealer and make them make it right.

Well brought it to the dealer and they verified it, and it is on the inner glass. They contacted the area corporate rep and they have seen this and tried buffing the glass, but it did not come out. So they are going to replace the windshield under warranty.
