Hello

Recently, I started having issues with my climate control head unit and regulator flap motors.

Firstly, the most noticeable issue is that when i turn on the car, the head unit display will flash with 1 second intervals for about 30 seconds and then stays on. This apparently started happening at the same time a few of my regulator flaps began acting up.
The only air i get is full hot and only to the windshield. The flap motors will not obey at all, like they have a mind of their own.

I took off the glovebox to get access to the motors. I used 2 cables to give some 12v power into the motor (black plug) to move it to COLD position (moves awfully slow though). Upon turning ignition, the motor goes back to HOT position, no matter what is currently set on the HU.

Same thing happens to the motor which directs air to windshield, feet, etc. (blue plug).

I'm not sure if this is an issue with the motors or the HU itself.

I managed to get some codes reported by the HU:
05.1 (G17) Outside Air (Ambient) Temperature Sensor, front, static open
08.3 Temperature Regulator Flap Motor Potentiometer, sporadic open
11.3 Central Flap Motor Potentiometer, sporadic open
