I just replaced my clutch and have one open wire on my engine harness that I CANNOT find the connection for. I'm about ninety nine percent sure it's for the oil temperature gauge, as it's right next to the oil pressure wire on the harness, and now my oil temp gauge isn't responding. I'll get a picture tomorrow morning, but it's a blue wire with a white stripe and a single female spade connector on it (just like the oil pressure connector, but without the boot). Does ANYONE know where in the hell I connect it to? Thanks in advance!

If you're looking for straight males, then kisses on the mouth really aren't necessary. A high five will do ya'. [up]

I'm not going to touch this one.

Anyone know the part# for the sensor, mine has been inop ever since I bought the car and thing the sensor is bad. Also does anyone know an easy way to test the gauge?

Should be able to test the guage with vag com if you research output tests for the cluster
