I tried one of my mp3 cd's in my stereo, I have the Bose Symphony II unit, but it didn't play mp3s, is something wrong with my CD or does it just not handle mp3s? :(

That 6CD changer is not for MP3s. Only Navigation system will give you MP3 access by SD Cards and also through DVD Navigation slot however you will have to take out Navigation disk. However, you maybe be able to hook up ipod but that will require some reseach ...

ICE-Link is your best bet, goes through the cd player with near perfect sound.

Ipod hookup should be totally possible but I don't want that because I will lose the CD changer. In another words, lose your CD changer, and then you can use that as Ipod. OR you keep the CD changer and use the SD card slots for mp3s (or DVD/CD-MP3 disc)
I'm kind of lazy but I did hear you can swap out CD changer to hookup ipod, ask your Audi Dealer.

you need to get an ipod inteface, i have one, it works well. note: you dont lose your cd controls there are a couple groups making them peripheral is one.
SD Card sounds great thru the Bose, the background instruments or noises had my head turning around (had a car horn on one track scared the s--- of me so be careful driving) lol
