Sorry if this sounds dumb, but what can i use to get the shine back on my spoiler?? It is badly sun faded and i don't want to wreck it.

If I'm correct, a sunfaded CF part would need to have resin reapplied to fix it.

Yes if it is sun faded then you need to get it refinished. If not then you should be able to use something like menzerna fg400.

Typically, a carbon fiber part is built with layers of CF mat that is bonded together with an epoxy, polyester or vinyl ester resin to create a CF reinforced composite. The part is then clear coated or painted with an automotive or marine finish containing UV inhibitors. Sometimes, less expensive products may be rattle canned with a clear urethane or similar paint.

One the CF starts to turn gray from UV exposure, there is nothing you can do to bring back the black color. If is merely the clear that is yellowing, then you might be able to have it refinished. If you do, you have to be very careful not to sand into the CF as you remove the old clear. If you do refinish, you might consider using a high quality auto or marine coating with a high level of UV inhibitors.
