So I took the plunge....
I thought I would share what just come in the mail after months of waiting. These parts are all OEM, coated in 245 Carbon Fiber (Same As Audi Products), and re-cleared so the fitment is superb. I took delivering of my 2014 S7 a few months back and started on the mods right away. I am one that likes the oem look with a twist.
Pictures are not the greatest but I will post quality photos once the mirrors and wheels are on.

Night and Day.... Some would say the stock diffuser is boring, not any more.

Carbon designz? How long did delivery take? I just got 245 mirror caps delivered, took like 6 wks - impressed with the quality, I wish there were more options for the S6 like the splitter you got.
Mind taking more pics of the rear diffuser? I've got the AWE black diamond tips and I'm trying to figure out what to do back there...

Correct on Carbon Designz. Quality is very impressive. Took roughly 6 weeks. I am switching out the exhaust soon with a more aggressive tone. Probably with matte or gloss Black tips. I will take a better picture soon.
Another option I was thinking is painting the diffuser black with the carbon insert. but now that I have both I couldn't help but put both on.

With it being cleared and covered by xpel, it should hold up nice. The weave is spot on with the interior.

Xpel will be done afterwards and the lower portion will be wrapped in gloss black. Did you have trouble? Front spoiler and diffuser fit very snug, but there is an additional layer of carbon, resin and clear coating to account for.

I was looking into getting the Carbon Blue set, with the spoiler and mirror covers, and i was wondering how the mirrors woud look. See the white buttom is just such a stand out. Wondering why they couln't do the buttom piece to match. Can we get a wide shot please and with mirror folded as well. If possible ofcourse. The carbon is spot on and looks great. Just needs that buttom piece done.

They are just sitting on there right now. I am going to wrap the button half in satin black to match the HREs .. If you look at the RS7 it is actually painted black. You can get the button half done in carbon but..... You have to buy the whole mirror assembly because it is attached. So I opted out of that option. Imgoing to do the pods on the door as well. You have to remove the door panel to get to that. So I'll have an eventful weekend.
Today I was just checking the fitment. Next week they will be wrapped and I'll take completed pics.
Stay tuned . Just got word my P40sc are done too!!!

Roughly 6 weeks. $30.00ish COD for import tax.
I will say I did very small trimming To make them line up on one of the mirrors. Basically some clear coat build up around the lane change assist.
Nothing a dremel tool can't fix. Little grinding and polishing.

I'm curious how the mirrors look from a higher angle rather than from even with them. Putting mine on this week that I ordered through MTM. Debating on what to do with the bottoms. Will likely wrap them gloss black but may see if I can just get it all painted piano black. I'm too impatient to wait to get the caps on prior to the wrap but don't know if the wrap guy could really get it close to the joints to look ok without taking everything apart again which I rather not have them do (having mirror caps put on by dealer).

I think the white looks good under there, but satin will look good too, to match the HRE's. I think it will not be easy to wrap and make it look perfect.
Maybe you could use that Duplicolor spray (a more refined plasti dip-like product) on there. It looks amazing on my valance and you could peel it off later if you wanted. I posted some pics in another thread. Check it out. It would be easy to do with the cap off.

I'm having them wrapped on Tuesday. We'll see how it goes. To wrap perfectly everything will need to come off. I took the door panel off last night and it looks like you have to drop the window to get to the hardware so I am avoiding that. IKON wraps will be doing it. Check out their site.

The carbon against the white looks sick!! [up]
HRE's are the ish! But I'm curious to see how this design works on a 7. It seems more suited for a 4 or 6. It helps that you chose a dark wheel on a white car as the wheel won't stand out as much, as the design gets kind of lost in the dark color.
Just my opinion... and I hope it turns out to prove me wrong! [wrench] [up]

Yeah, here's another similar White/Black S7... Not bad! HRE's design is way better! But with this design wheel I think a 21" is a must... they look too small on the 7.

If you look at the pic the lower portion can not be removed from the motor assembly ( the come from the factory like this pre painted)
Wrapping was almost impossible to do unless making a cut somewhere. So I opted for paint. The end result is much better. I will use xpel over it once the paint is completing set.

How did your mirrors turn out from MTM? Fitment, design, etc?
They are ok, design/carbon are perfect looking. I think yours are a little tighter fitting but without them side by side I cant say. The carbon is perfect, it is tight fitting. Mine look like they have a little more thickness in front of the turn signal light as it turns towards the car...mine stick out forward some but looks like yours do a little also. The joints are fine until right where it comes down to the base under the lane change warning light to the tip of the carbon. So in your final pic that tip at the lowest point on the carbon is a little off just above the mount to the door. It could probably be shaved down inside somewhere though it looks like to me. Looks like the resin may have been a little thick. I actually wonder if they are from the same source in the end. My 2 cents is that if you say your carbon is perfect I would suggest people order the ones you got...now if only they existed a month earlier when I had only found MTM 3 months ago. Would have saved a few hundred dollars. Damn yours looks good...got to go do the paint immediately.

Yeah I had Audi do the disassembly... 2 hours of labor. I wanted it done right.
The mirrors have some bulkiness in area due to the addition layers. but as far as the line up it is great. It is very hard to tell unless you have an eye ball up on it! Lol
The only issue was the side assist module opening... instead of trying to mod the mirrors I actually rounded the corners of the module to flow with the opening. The module opening in my opinion has to be hard to be precise without actually having the module in while fabrication took place.
All in all I am very pleased and think the full blacked out option is the way to go.
