Just wondering, when going through all the carbon buildup posts through various forums I have not seen complaints of carbon buildup in 2011+ Audi S5 V8 models.
I am thinking to do a carbon clean for my car, I do not have any carbon buildup symptoms more looking to restore engine efficiency, preventive maintenance and knowing that my engine is clean again [:D]

I would say it all depends on how you've been driving the car.
If you're driving style is very "spirited", then I would say maybe not, but if you've been driving normally, then I would say yes.

So I have decided to get a Carbon clean done!
It looked really ugly in there! Definitely, better throttle response and pull throughout all rpms and less jerkiness that I had before. When doing the clean they found my intake runner to be cracked and I switched it out for a used one to prevent any long term issues.
Here are some pics.

How many miles were on your car? I have a 2011 with an APR supercharger, could be my imagination but does not seem as quck on the throttle as when I bought it (currently 34K mi)...

Mileage is stated in a post above, I believe since you have a supercharger you do not have to worry about carbon buildup as much, since air is forces through the intake meaning it is less prone to have buildup.
