Has anyone retrofitted 1BL Audi adaptive damping suspension (ADS) to an RS5? I don't really need the option to lower ride height, just want the option for more comfort for broken roads and don't want fiddly aftermarket suspensions that make noises.

I don't know that anyone has - you could ask Alex @ Europrice if he's sold any.

I imagine it would be cost prohibitive compared to something like a B16 system.

I doubt. That suspension is for the S5. The adaptive suspension for the RS5 where available is a completely different system called DRC (Dynamic Ride Control). It connects the diagonally opposing dampers through central valves to counter act body roll, squat and dive and it can be adjusted to Comfort, Auto, Dynamic. The central valves are mounted in the back of the car close to the bumper, however, there is no room for them in the US spec RS5. Audi had to redesign the rear crash zone for the US spec RS5 and the new design left no room for the valves, therefore we don't get DRC as an option.
