Time to deviate a bit from car talk. Who's following the world cup? Who are you supporting?

Me! Where I originally come from soccer (or football for most of the countries in the world) is very popular although my home country has never been in world cup. Germany is my most favorite team and I'm driving german cars. [:D]
Also, the USA's coach Jurgen Klinsmann is my childhood hero so I'm wishing for him to do well as a coach for USA team as well.

USA no question. It's been a great World Cup so far, my favorite sporting event in the world.

I've been following this, and being US, my team is naturally US. However, last world cup I thought the Dutch got cheated, so they're my second favorites to win.
That said, there have been some incredible matches and comebacks this cup, and I look forward to seeing more!

Too bad the ref fell for the obvious dive by Robben. Yes...most players do it these days...but shame all the same to the Dutch!!!

The ref missed a foul in the first half that would've been a penalty shot on robben. It's part of the game and he was stepped on with no ball contact . I would say it's a foul and many commentators would agree.

To put this on the right track again, have you seen that there is a World Cup entry in the Audi online section in the MMI? :-)
Its there along the weather and other more or less useful info :-)

So the ref felt obliged to make up for the missed earlier call.

No, it was a foul maybe less glaring than the one in the first half but a foul nonetheless.

They played good. But honestly it sucked to see them play a "park the bus in their way" kind of a game. Those were their tactics but still it was kinda shitty. Also, the commentators for espngo added to it all. Very pro-mexican . Nothing against mexico but biased commentary takes the fun out.

Gotta check that out today. Only if we could stream the game too :-P

All you need is:
Apple TV
ATV 12V power supply, needs to replace the internal 220V, DX.com
HDMI to composite converter, DX.com
12V power for the HDMI, DX.com
Composite in for the TV tuner/AMI, kufatec.com
This sounds like a great DIY if I only knew what the heck it would yield ;)
Espn app on iPhone does the trick WELL

I'm from an island that is part of Dutch territory so I am rooting for Netherlands.. It was a good game today nevertheless, a few missed calls and a few inaccurate calls but an overall well played game. Mexico had some great stops but in the end their sportsmanship was lacking. They obviously were upset at the turn around in the game after they were dominating most of it but at the end after the match when the Mexico coach shoved Van Persie I was astonished at his lack of composure. Oranje voor altijd!

Mexico's manager showed his lame ass to everybody by hitting van persie and then whining about the referee. As of now"keep whining you ass" :-P

Not married, but may as well be after 9 years, so I cheer for the USA and Germany.

I'm literally married to one. My wife was born and raised in Germany. I've lived there off and on for around 11 years. I've been thru a BMW and have two Audis....got the grandfather clock, plates, a Mass here or there, Weizen glasses everywhere....two of four kids born there..all of them are fluent in German.
If I say anything bad about the German team....I get attacked...

It should be a good matchup. Germany has been up and down.
Going for Argentina. My wife is from Uruguay so she is not thrilled with my pick.
