Introduction Audi A6 4g Avant From Münster ( Germany ) - built up

Hello everybody,

at First i want to introduce myself. ;-)
My name is Rouven and i am from Münster ( Germany ).
A month ago i have bought my A6 Avant with S-line interior and exterior.

I have registred me at this forum to habe contact to other people who have the same hobby like ( Audi ;-) )

Furthermore i want to inform you about the plans which have to be realised in the next months / years;

- h&r deep coilover ( deepness 120mm )
- 21" inch wheel from bentley ( i love great britian!! :-D )
- sound generator of the bi-tdi
- pedals of the RS6

so lets have fun and hopefully good contacts!

Why? I don't know... all the parts are the same except the rear of the car, would it be that hard to offer that model to consumers?

20" with dunlop 255/35-20

I miss the bentley rims sooooo much!;-)

What size are the tires on the Bentley's?

The tires of the bentleys are dunlop 265/30-21

But next Year i will get 245/30-21 - so the car will become deeper!;-)

Today i got some pics of my new steering-wheel of the RS6 finished with alcantara!
The work has been done by the guys of Neidfaktor Hamburg - very good work!!

In three weeks it will be installed.....what do you think?? 8-)

What steering wheel did you have before?? Also 3-spokeed? With paddels?

I have a 4-spooked steering wheel and I wanna retrofit 3-spooked instead.. But I dont know if the airbag will fit!!

It was the 3-spooked before but without paddles

For the new steering Wheel of the RS6 ( flattened) i need a new Airbag!

So i belief You can take the old Airbag for the 3-Spooked one when it is NOT flattened!

But what I'm wondering is if I can take my airbag from my 4-spooked steering wheel and retrofit it to a new 3-spooked (not flattened) steering wheel with paddles??

The "cover" looks like it wont work out, but when you look at the "inside" it has the same "round" shape...

Hi,

So let me repeat and summarize ( please correct me if there will be a mistake;-) )

You have a 4-spooked steering wheel and You want to change to 3-spooked with paddles? Therefor You want to know if you can use your "old" airbag of your 4-spooked steering-wheel?!

The answer is: no!:-(
I am very sorry!

But if you want to buy a cheap airbag of a 3-spooked steering-wheel than ask me via message. I have got one of my "old" 3-spooked. On friday i will get my new one from the RS6....;-)

Bro, I have the same car :) same Daytona Grey Avant but in Russia. 3.0TDI.

Now looking for nice set of wheels for summer. Looking for 20x10 or 10,5 all around.
Mine is Revo Stage 1. In general I love my Avant very much.

New tires 245/30-21 ( before 265/30-21 )

Car much lower

Carbon outside mirror

New front will follow

More deepness will also follow ;-)

Coilovers are the same ( H&R deep )

But i have changed the tires ( now 245/30-21 ) so there was more place in the wheel case to make the car lower ;-)

May the 15th ( after Holiday with the Family ) it will be lower.....:-D

I have to ask you again. Did the whole steering wheel cost 250 euro or just the alcantara finish?

Just the Alcantara Finish costs 250,-
The steering wheel approx 350,-

Airbag 650,-

But You can also ask the guys of Neidfaktor ( with referring to me )
May be they have an "used" one?!

Please give me a feedback....

By the way, how is alcantara steering wheel in practice? I mean usage, cleaning etc.
