Someone told me the reason Oettinger hasn't released new stuff is because they are going through financial woes.

Don't know if that's true or not but tuners like ABT, AC Schnitzer, Brabus, and Hamann are all ahead of the US automobile releases with their aftermarket products. Another sign that they may be struggling.

Finally, why is CEC liquidating their inventory of RZ's, RE's, parts for the B6 at incredible prices?

Don't know but I really hope it's NOT because they are going out of business. Oettinger is by far my favorite tuner for Audi's/VW's.

Thank god they aren't going out of business. I can't wait to see what the kit will look like. If it's anything like the Photoshopped A3 kit, it will look absolutely awesome.

Oettinger has gone out of business. They filed bankruptcy. That is why I chose Abt as my B7's tuner or else I would've waited for the Oettinger kits to come out. Good thing is that Abt is now the official Audi DTM racing sponsor. Buying their shiet means years of track-proven experience and extensively knowledge of the know-hows of tuning. My kit went on like a champ, my quad-tip exhaust bolt-on no problems and the look is just clean... VR, Mikey

They closed but i think they got bought out by someone else and they will be back on the scene soon just dont know when.

Oettinger has not gone out of business, they are very much alive and will be comming out with some interesting products in the next couple of months.
Mike didnt you send an email to Oettinger requesting sponsorship awhile back?

well... again...they have not gone out of business...CEC has informed me that Claus will go talk to them at the Frankfurt show in begining of oct...so we will have an update soon....but they have not gone out of business....they had finantial trouble but now they are back on track and slowly making a comeback....just wait a few months and well have the kit done and ill def post pix of my car ;)
