He's in Houston...you're in Dallas...I'm in Dallas. I've been asking around in some other forums/threads:
If anyone in the DFW area has a VAG-Com that they aren't using, and are interested in helping out other Audi folk, would they be willing to help me out with a few modifications? I was thinking about a bottle of high-octane spirits or similar compensation.
No takers so far, so I may end up getting my own. In which case, I would be willing to help others as well.
The problem is that it's the sort of thing that you buy, use once or twice, and then lose somewhere in the garage. I'm assuming you're in the same position?

I'm in Plano/Frisco area and just recently had to bite the bullet, and pony up the $$. *Although I'm still in the (VAG) learning phase!*, I'm more than happy to help anyone in need. Hit me up or PM me...

I am a cheap SOB, and held off for a long time using the eBay chinese cables with mixed results. Finally bought a genuine one, and never regretted it for a second.
