2014 Audi S4 Lava Grey with Red and Black interior- Pictures!!!

Hey guys,

So I just picked up my 2014 Audi S4 in Lava Grey with red and black interior. The car came with standard 18" inch wheels and summer tires so I had Audi find me 18" titanium wheels.

The car is equipped with The sports differential and I would never recommend anyone getting that car without it!

I traded in a 2009 Audi a5 3.2 that I had for about 2 years. Great looking car, but no pep!

What I love about it is the fact that it can be black in the dark or in different lighting but when the sun is shining, metallic grey flakes start to appear.

yup thats why i like it too. my favorite color on cars is black. but since its hard to maintain, i was looking for a dark dark grey. daytona is gorgeous but not dark enough. this is just perfect.

only drawback was from some google images, i see some brown hue to it. are you able to replicate that and post up a pic?

I don't think there is a brown hue to it... Or at least I haven't seen one.

I've seen black and dark dark grey in darker areas and on sunlight it's shows the flakes in the paint.

My a5 was black and loved it. Had it waxed every 3 months. But this blows it out of the water

I think it's 1r1r. But I'd have to double check my paperwork.

This was as is on lot. Very happy to find one.

Canada had about 4 Audi s5 available and all were white and very few S4's.

I had a Lava Q7 years back. My wife wanted it, I was never a fan, personally. It does look more suitable on an S4 tho. The interior makes for an interesting combo too.

It's easy to maintain. I cleaned it last Wednesday. Then Saturday. Then Sunday. It's still clean!

If you wish to keep the 18's for winter and eventually upgrade to a different set for summer, don't be afraid do go with 19s, even in Montreal. I made to switch and I'm 100% pleased by how smooth the ride is.

I actually bought the titanium wheels in 18 so that tires would be much much cheaper as I will go through summers quite quickly! They may not be as pretty as 19... But I did not buy this car for the looks, I bough it for the performance!

Everyone seems to see something different!

In real life it looks black in the dark and when the sunlight is out you can see abit of purple/brown/black/ metallic grey. It's amazing how it changes.
