Hello,

I'm looking into buying some Vossen CVT the options I have are 19x8.5 or 19x10. The tires I'm using are 255/35/19 so I want to know if I will rub with the 10s or should I get the smaller ones.

10s. Don't waste your time getting wheels with stock width.

Did you honestly search at all before taking the time to create a new post. I read this exact same thread, about the same wheels even, this morning. 255 is a bit narrow for a 10" wheel IMO and 10 seems wide for fronts. You could run what you propose staggered with 8.5 up front, but without knowing what offsets you are getting this is all kind of pointless speculation.

Do you rub with your setup?

Are you lowered to the point of having little to no fender-to-tire gap? If not, the amount of stretch you get with the 255/35 on 10" wheel might look a bit weird, at least in my opinion. Just a word of warning to implore you to look around for some examples of 255/35 on 10" wheel width before pulling the trigger.

I considered doing this at one point, but if you are staggering wheel width you really need to stagger tire widths as well, for aesthetic purposes. Specifically, if you have a 255/35 tire on your 8.5" wide front wheels, there will be little to no stretch, versus the same 255/35 tire on the rear 10" wide wheel will give you significant amount of stretch. When looking down along the side of your car from the front or rear, you will notice the disparity in the amount of sidewall stretch from front to rear, and I don't think it will look right.

So don't run the same size tires front and rear if you want the amount of stretch to be consistent. You can run different widths and still have the same profile if you select your sizes appropriately and keep the rolling radius within specs for Quattro.
