I would like to upgrade my 2003 Audi A4 (B6) from my Symfony 2 to the RNS-E radio, so I can have the navigation most importantly. First question, does it worth it: is the system good and worth the hassle of installing (if any) compare to the Symfony 2?

Other questions:
- where to buy for 2003 Audi A4 Base Quattro? The one that looks the best is http://www.vagnavs.com/Audi2.html. Is it a trusted seller? Is the kit the right for my B6?
- what is the price to expect for such an investment?
- I don't have the shark fin on the roof top of the car, so does that mean I have the magnetic GPS antenna? Maybe I have none of these, I don't know.
- is it a DIY or can a dealer or other people install it (like someone at Best Buy who knows about radio more than I)? In case I fail myself.
- I don't think I have the Bose speakers (no logo anywhere), how to make sure?
- I currently use a tape with a cable to play music from my iPhone/iPad or any other decide with a jack, how is it possible to play these devices with the RNS-E?
- is there usually issues with the RNS-E? I want to avoid to do everything and realize the navigation is not working, or the radio.

I would love to install that thing but it is an investment so I want to make sure to take the right decisions, that it is doable too :)

-Brian at VagNavs is a great source for the RNS-E. I would highly recommend him. Super helpful and the product is top-notch. That is the right kit.
-You see the price on his website. Nothing else is required
- Magnetic antenna is just fine and works well. Not to mention the fact that it is mounted behind the instrument cluster, so you can't see it.
-It is a DIY. You should be able to do it. A shop can take over if you can't figure it out, but you can do it.
-Should say on the radio screen when you turn on your car. If there aren't logos anywhere you likely don't have bose
-You can add an AMI device by using a writeup such as this: http://forums.quattroworld.com/allroad/msgs/164819.phtml . It is a lot easier than it seems.
-No issues that I am aware of.

Honestly, the RNS-E has one thing going for it: it maintains the OEM look. If I could do it over again, I would seriously consider going with something else that has a much larger feature base.
