Does anybody know how to remove the Metra double din dash kit?
I even pulled off the glove box, but I'm not sure what's holding it in there. Pushing the radio out from the back obviously does nothing.

Is it the stock radio? If so you need these keys

There's clips on the sides. You will likely break it when you take it out. Pretty much you have to grab where you can get a grip around the face and pull forward.

This. I think the Enfig kit is the only one that is easily removable.

I used a long knife to slide between the mounting hardware and the stereo, then pried it out little by little, switching from left to right while prying.

Mine never snapped into place all the way, so it's easy to remove.

Ok, so I took the damn side panels off and have no clue where those clips are. Can someone help my dumbass out?

Good luck with that. I recently installed one, but realized it wouldn't be removable once it clicks into place, so I sanded down the wedges that snap into place once it's pushed it. So mine is just a friction fit and I can just slide it out. I don't know if you can get in there with anything, but if you can slide a thin piece of metal like a spark plug gap tool or a Symphony stereo removal tool, in between the two pieces of plastic from behind, that may be able to push the wedge clips in. But the left side will be a bi#@&. Otherwise, I'd be tempted to use a Dremmel with a cutting wheel and cut the face plate off the front then get in there with something to push the clip in.

I had to pull my glovebox and it gave me enough room to push from the back and pry it out with a flat head when I pulled out my Kenwood to put in the parrot asteroid
it was a bitch to do and you have to work it slowly.

I also pulled my glove box off, then took the lower panel under the steering wheel off, and used a little screw driver to pop those fuckin' tabs, sucked, so I bought the RNS-E clone so I don't have to do that again, my advice is to put it flush enough so you don't have to do that again
