I know I read somewhere on the forum the installation instructions for the HR Lowering module but I can't seem to find them. My HREs arrived and I want to install the module this weekend. Does anyone happen to have the instructions? Thanks in advance guys!

Post #35 below are my general install tips. The Chef's thread Project SuperCar 7 Series has the copy of the HR instruction sheet.

So what is the MINIMUM amount of lowering you can do with the H&R module? I don't want a 40mm drop. Like 12mm (0.5") would be perfect to me. Also, can I just do this amount by recoding with a VAG tool?

The minimum lowering amount is NONE so to your answer is yes, you can have your car dropped at 12mm. You only have to turn the adjustment screw back to the height that you want since the starting baseline out of the box is 40mm drop. I have mine done at 25mm front and 30mm rear.

Regarding of using VAG tool to lower your car, it's possible but it would reset many settings and require you to make a trip to dealership. If you don't want to spend $1600 on H&R for that small drop, Audi dealerships can do that for you but you have to talk to your SA or tech guy to do so since they can do up to 17mm drop.

if you only want 12mm you should just let some air outta your tires and save 1600 buxx! lol

I was thinking more along the lines of whether you could do it yourself with a VAG COM

12-15mm drop in dynamic mode looks about perfect to me. Keep in mind that I am also running 265 tires which closes the fender gap another 3.5 mm. It's more about fender gap than overall ride height for me. This isn't a track car.

If you put those 265 on some 10.5's you wouldn't have that problem! (you'd have another problem. The one I have with 255 on 9.5!! lol. don't mind me, I am just in a crazy mood! )

255's on 9.5 with 30 aspect ratio on 21" wheels after a Cleveland winter. Could you be asking for any more trouble !!??

I never said I was the brightest bulb in the pack!! Thats what I get for relying on Southern California guys to design my setup! They have no idea what its like up here.

On the positive note, they are busily trying to fill the all the holes... my insurance is paying a good portion of the repair and I have a chance to change the finish on the lips which I was not totally sold on anyway. Gloss black lips with satin black centers babee! I gotta get another set so I can have one to put on when I am sending the newly damaged ones out for repair.

21" P44SC's in Satin bronze to go with the Garnett Red S6. I'm hoping the combo comes out looking sick.

That color scheme is going to look sweet. Are you going to switch to 265s?

FWIW, I always use accidents, etc. as a reason to do another mod !!!

For anyone who has a S6. The S7 looks like it has the yellow connected attached to a spot that is different from the S6. Does anyone have a screenshot on where the yellow connected gets hooked up to on the S6?

Same as I remember it. Refer to the pics in that thread I linked, it was just like that on the S6
