I did a search and didn't see any threads on this. I garage park my S4 when at home but I was thinking about getting a car cover for times when i either have to park it on the street or somewhere besides home for a few days. Do any Audiziners have a car cover and if so what brand? I know this is not something I want to cheap out on as a bad cover can be much worse for the car than not having one.

Thanks

I had a Covercraft for my prior car when I used to park outside all the time and was very happy with the quality and fit.

Car covers will cause swirls and scratches if put on anything but a perfectly clean car

It's a California Car Cover. Very durable and perfect fit. Also good for water repelling. Couldn't tell you how much because it was a gift but I can tell you it's not one of those cheap Walmart ones.

+1. Unless you plan to wash your car prior to covering, don't bother. Even then you are prone to swirl marks parking outside exposed to wind. I had one for my previous S4- used it once.

Yes, you should never put a car cover over a dirty car and I hope everyone already knows that. My cover stays on the car in the garage and after being washed. A California duster works great to keep it clean between washes. Also, there are holes at the bottom and around the cover so you can tighten it down for wind or lock it.

P.S. I had the same brand cover on my black Mustang. Never messed with the paint. It has a soft underside that touches the paint.

All 4 corners will probably have minor scratching if used with any regularity.

Car cover = Sandpaper

Good sealant / wax beats car covers.

Car covers are terrible for your paint. Don't use one.

Good to know. I wont consider using one then. I'm going to do an Xpel clear bra on the front end soon but i am also pretty OCD about keeping the car clean so i will just make sure to wash and wax regularly. Thanks for the advice!

I use a covercraft Noah cover... mostly in the garage on a fresh wash/wax car... once the car gets even the slightest bit of dust/dirt, I don't use it.

Same here. Plus I have a clear bra.
