Have you guys every used a quick detail spray wax after washing your car when its still wet?? A lot of them don't say you can use them when the car is wet...
Saw a video where the guy washed the car and used a wet micro fiber towel and spray wax to dry the car, the wax was just used as extra lubrication so swirl marks don't form. I cant seem to find any that say they can be applied while wet.

I use do do juice drying ad while the car is still wet , I feel that it helps reduce water spots and helps your drying towel move over easier.

Yes using Quick Detail Spray after a wash will help condition the water and will be a great way to maintain your car's paint with ease.
The Adam's Detail Spray (http://detailersdomain.com/Adams-Detail-Spray-Version-2-16-oz_p_884.html) is great as a drying agent.

Does anyone like any of the Chemical Guys Detail Spray. I ask because there is a store close to me. I want to use it primarily to remove dust safely vs caring about how shiny it is.
I used the synthetic detailer and am not that impressed. Seems to leave streaks. They have quite a few more.

That one sounds like it would work great. I just got a bunch of Meguirs kicking around gonna have to pick some of that stuff up.

I use Adam's Detail spray as a drying agent with EVERY wash. It's brilliant!

I usually do a quick pass over any areas with lots of water with a towel then come back with a few shots of detail spray on each panel then wipe dry. Makes the car feel freshly waxed after each wash.

I think that Griots Garage has a quick wax that is used when the car is still wet.

I've recently started using the CG Synthetic Detail Spray after washing and it works amazingly! I can dry my car much faster and safer. The first person I saw using this technique was Larry from AMMO. There may have been others before that is where I stole my idea. He has his own drying product too but the CG's stuff is cheap if you wash a lot of cars like I do.

Yeah that's where i saw it as well, he's pretty good but his products are pricey. Just found an auto glym detailer that's made to use as you dry.
Anyone have any experience with auto glym products?

Chemical Guys Hybrid V7 is AMAZING stuff.
Skip the 16oz bottle and just buy a gallon. It flashes fast and applies easy.
*note, I've read it doesn't play well with Mezerna's Sealant. I wouldn't know. I use it over a layer of Pinnacle Black Paint Coating.

I was a poster on this thread. Look up a few posts. I was not pleased with the Chemical Guys quick detailing sprays. I also love trying new products vs the same old ones mentioned in this forum
I use OPTIMUM waterless wash diluted. It works great and is so incredibly cheap when used as a detailing spray
I wrote about it here

Is the synthetic the same as the hybrid?
The Hybrid v7 flashes so quickly it's unlikely to leave streaks.

I do the same. I also add a tiny bit to wash soap bucket.

I think they are different. But that begs the question, why do companies make multiple quick Detail sprays. Just make one good one instead of a good one and a bad one. Also there is the price differtial with the Optimum. I would be curious for someone like you who likes the Chemical Guys product to try the Optimum solution and do a review of how you think it compares.

I've used DuraGloss AquaWax on wet cars with great success. Though, I ran out a while back and have been using Optimum Car Wax (v2) since - only applied after the car has been dried. You could certainly use diluted Optimum No Rinse as a spray-on-while-wet with good results, though I wouldn't expect the same level of slickness as a dedicated wax booster. I mainly use ONR that I've diluted to near-QD levels for the garage queen to do a quick detail after each drive. In the winters I will also use it as originally intended (waterless wash) and it works well, leaves the finish pretty slick, but doesn't seem to be as slick as using OCW or DG AW.
Of course, YMMV.

I like using this when the car is wet. Makes the car easier to dry and it works especially great on dark colors-- used this on a black vette for years with great success.

I haven't had any issues with the Hybrid V7. It's a spray sealant and likely compatible over any sealant.
I think the issue would be the so-called spray wax which is a term used loosely; to me spray wax would have a little bit of carnauba and could present a challenge when applied on a wet surface, but at the same time there are other spray waxes that are more like snthetic quick detailers than they're waxes per-se that are pretty much compatible with just about any situation.

Kind of a gimmick I'd say. Ive been using spray detailer on my drying towel for a long time and it does the EXACT same thing, and drips less nasty wax/water mix on everything.
http://www.autogeek.net/menzerna-paint-refresh.html
Menzerna paint refresh was one I used for a while, overall a pretty decent spray detailer. Ive never used them in a typical sense of "spray then wipe" if that makes sense.
Now, I have some meguairs spray wax I got at the store just because I ran out and wanted some while I was having a detail day. Works pretty much the same. Starting a dry towel with some spray wax/detailer (basically a "lubricant") makes the drying process more efficient and also leaves that tiny little extra on top. My car is opticoated (the original stuff not the current formula) and still beads like a champ a year later, but the spring time here in VA leaves a goopy thick layer of pollen within an hour of of washing, but the spray detailer helps prevent it from sticking for at least a little longer Ive noticed.

As others have pointed out, there is more than one product that people can use that aids in drying and helps detail the car at the same time. Everyone has tried something different and gotten good results.
Where is this gimmick you speak of?

I personally spray QD while my car is still wet. Like everybody's said, makes drying much easier.
You may encounter a streak here and there from time to time, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, that's just the protection property of the particular detailer you're using laying down on your finish, it may require a little extra work, but it's not a bad thing if you asked me.
